Moodboard for a bedroom

I recently started a project about renovating and furnishing of an apartment right in the center of Athens. The apartment has not been used for a while, but will now be used for rental in some periods, and therefore I think it is important to use neutral colors in the interior and a style that can be easy to like, so that those who will be staying there can feel as much as possible “at home”, regardless of their age, gender and personal taste.

We are talking about an apartment of approximately 75 sqm on the sixth floor, with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room, a small storage room and a quite large balcony. It has not been refurbished in a long time and there is some damage in the floor (wooden and marble floor), the ceiling (due to humidity), the windows and shutters, which have been poorly preserved. So it becomes a bit of a challenge to fix all the damages, repair it as needed, furnish and transform the entire apartment to a pleasant and attractive home, while all this should not cost too much for the owner of the apartment!

I have started planning the furnishing of the various rooms and I’ll post some here on the blog as I come forward with the project. Today you will see a moodboard I’ve created, a small collage of colors, furniture, and the general impression I would suggest for the one bedroom. Perhaps it can be inspiring for others who want to make changes to their bedroom too!
